I Decided to Follow the Trend of Praising Children Even If They Behave Like Little Monsters

At the supermarket, my son begged for toys, but I refused. Nearby, a calm mom stopped her son’s tantrum with just a quiet word, inspiring me to try a new approach: less scolding, more praise.

For a week, I focused on praising my son’s actions instead of nagging. At first, it felt odd, but it led to small improvements—quieter mornings and better cooperation. However, my husband wasn’t on board, causing some confusion, and my son tested the limits.

While the experiment wasn’t perfect, it taught me to nag less and focus on positivity. Our home is calmer now, and we’re all a bit happier.
