I Dumped My Date After She Was 45 Minutes Late but I’m Not Sure If I Did the Right Thing

Navigating dating can be tricky, and sometimes decisions aren’t easy. A man shared his story about a first date that went south due to lateness.

They agreed to meet at 2 PM, and he arrived on time. At 2:10, she texted that she was still at home but would leave soon, expecting him to wait. Feeling disrespected, he left at 2:30 after finishing his coffee. At 2:45, she texted, upset he didn’t wait longer, and sent rude messages blaming him.

The man questioned whether he was wrong, but many sided with him, calling her behavior rude and entitled. While dating decisions can be complex, respect for each other’s time is essential.
