I Snatched My Tip Back Because of the Waiter’s Nasty Attitude

Subject: I Snatched My Tip Back Because of the Waitress’s Nasty Attitude

I (30F) went out with my husband (30M) to celebrate his promotion. The night took a turn when the waitress insulted my tip. I left $10 on an $85 bill, and when she saw it, she sneered, saying it wasn’t enough and sarcastically called me a “cheapskate” for not leaving 20%. Annoyed, I took the tip back, and she started berating me, causing a scene. The manager had to step in and remove her. We left without leaving a tip. While I feel justified, others think I overreacted.
