Democratic megadonor John Morgan appeared on *CUOMO* to discuss the failed Harris-Walz campaign, claiming that Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi opposed Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee to succeed Joe Biden.
Biden withdrew from the race in July under party pressure, endorsing Harris immediately. Obama, however, waited five days to publicly support her. Morgan described Biden’s endorsement as a defiant move against Obama and Pelosi, saying, “It was an F-you to them.”
Morgan also highlighted Pelosi’s push for a more democratic nomination process, which Republican critics frequently mentioned during the campaign. “We ran on ‘democracy,’ but didn’t practice it in picking our nominee,” he said.
