Lost but Confident

Was once walking in a new city for the first time and a stranger asked me for directions.

As I was about to inform him I was not familiar with the area, my aunt interrupted me — giving him the directions. After he walked away I asked her how she knew where that was, as it was her first time in the city too. She said she didn’t — she made it up. Never admit that you don’t know where you are.
