From Heartbreak to Happiness

After college, I got a job, married a coworker with a child, and settled into suburban life. Two years later, we were miserable, and she found comfort in someone else. Heartbroken and lost, my dad bought me a ticket to LA to visit friends.

That trip changed my life. I divorced, sold everything, and moved to LA. Twenty years later, I’m happily remarried with two kids, have lived in amazing cities, traveled the world, and made unforgettable memories. When I saw my ex years later, she apologized, but I thanked her—her actions led me to the life I was meant to live.
